Therapy with Taylor Isaacson: Depth therapy for the queer community
Therapy with Taylor
YOU (yes, you) have an internal compass
Taylor, you've never met me. (You're probably saying).

Well, that's tea. But hear me out.
Â
There are very few things I can say for certain⎯as a therapist, or person for that matter⎯but everyone has their own inner alignment and it's totally findable.

Every baby is born as themself. When they need something, they cry. Simple! No judgement, just full presence.

As we grow older and our nervous systems attune to our experiences, both good and bad (and everything in between), we begin to stray from the essence of who we are and further towards what society needs us to be.
With the key elements of presence, curiosity, and compassion, we can help you find your way back.
This work helps people connect back in with their authenticity.
The systems of this world attempt, and sometimes succeed, in stripping us of deep and meaningful connection with ourselves. They attempt to divide us from each other.

I believe a part of the medicine this world needs is for you to reclaim the parts of yourself you've been encouraged to abandon or see as "bad" (i.e. softness, anger, slowness, etc.). In doing so, you may show up more wholly for yourself and, by extension, for others and the world.
Â
While we're all just tiny beings on a rock floating in space, doing this work, helping you find your you-est you, is how I derive meaning from being here and it's the reason that the essence of this work feels spiritual to me.
